Able Baker Julie

The Able Baker started as a web-based business, baking each order fresh from scratch.

In October 2011, we opened our very-own store in lovely Maplewood, New Jersey.

In February 2016, we expanded into the store next door.

In March 2020, well, we all know what happened but we’re still baking everything fresh from scratch and still trying to bake happy.

As for the name, her then-4 year-old-son (now barista) christened her Able Baker Julie after a Richard Scarry character.
